Permanent Residency with Multiple-Entry Privileges in the Philippines
The Special Resident Retiree’s Visa (SRRV) is issued by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) upon endorsement by the Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA). It grants its holder the right to reside permanently in the Philippines and enjoy multiple-entry privileges. At ExplorePH Visa, we help you navigate the process so you can enjoy a stress-free retirement or a stable long-term stay in the Philippines.
Important: The SRRV is now available only for applicants aged 50 years and older. The previous option for ages 35 to 49 is no longer applicable.
To be eligible for the SRRV, you must meet the following criteria:
The visa deposit requirements are as follows:

The following documents are required to apply for the SRRV:
Application Process:
Submit your complete application to the Philippine Embassy (if applying from abroad) or directly to the BOI. After endorsement, the BI will issue a probationary, multiple-entry visa valid for 6 months. Upon arrival in the Philippines and proof of your deposit and subsequent investment conversion, your probationary visa will be upgraded to an indefinite SRRV.
Although there are officially four SRRV categories, only two options are available now:
Note: The option for applicants below 50 years old has been suspended indefinitely.
